The Bombers Happy Tongue Loose Ring Bit is part of Bomber's 'Blue Mouthpiece' range of bits which have been designed to suit horses who are head shakers and/or have a sensitive tongue.
Made from a blue sweet iron, it oxidizes easily which encourages salivation and encourages your horse to accept the bit as it is warm and sweet.
The Happy Tongue is a solid mouth piece which is curved and ported to give tongue relief. It is often used for horses that are: shaking their head, sticking their tongue out, sucking its tongue back and as a result making an intermittent coughing noise, trying to put its tongue over the bit, going behind the bit to avoid the contact, snatching the reins forward and down.
The Loose Ring allows for immediate release and relief from tongue and bar pressure, as the bit is immediately reset to a neutral position in the horse's mouth.
